Homespun Treasures started business in July 2000. Owners Karen and Steve Eash have gone through many changes since the small store front where it all began. Three years ago the current location was purchased for a permanent site. The abandoned building obtained was built back in the 1920's and after much restoration we were ready to call this home. The building also houses Steve's business, Eash Mechanical, a heating and air conditioning business. The new location expanded room for a classroom, larger retail, and a workroom that includes a long arm quilting machine.

Alterations have always been a large part of the business, but the quilting end has been steadily growing. With the help of quilting friends we've been able to keep a steady schedule of classes to inspire, motivate and educate the local quilters.

We also have a group of quilters that meet throughout the year  to work together on charity items.  They call themselves the Homespun Quilters.  Some of the projects they have contributed to are Christmas stockings for the Food and Clothes Basket, a raffle quilt that proceeds helped our council on aging and ark,(animal rescue).

For the last 3 years we have held a quilt show at the store to showcase projects the quilters have completed in classes taken at the store.  They also enter antique quilts and others from their collections.  See quilt show photos in our photo gallery.
